The Tooth Fairy is Getting Old

So, here's the thing about the tooth fairy. She's gettin' kind of old. Actually, she has some help, i.e. her tooth fairy husband (he's like the tooth wizard or something) and they're both gettin' kind of old and tired so it's hard when small children in the house don't fall asleep at a respectable hour (really, there are no "small" children here anymore, just children who like to milk the tooth fairy legend for all it's worth). Clutching a few token gold coins, the Tooth Wizard wanders aimlessly around the house in South Park boxers (and nothing else) waiting for the elusive sleep to set in. Ahhh......the fine line between "believe" and "not believe"........between childhood and adulthood.......between innocence and experience.........you don't want it to end but at the same time you just wish they would hurry up and get over it already. And truly, they have given it up already - we've been informed that the tooth fairy does not exist! Really? Hmmm......there is also some skepticism about the Easter Bunny. However Leprechauns and Santa seem to have a corner on the market and so they shall stick around for a bit longer, I presume. Now, I just have to make sure my curious readers stay away from my blog for a few days, at least until this post gets buried under more important things..........

The tooth fairy forgot to stop at our house last month 3 nights in a row. Poor CheyAnn was really upset, until I told her I read on Yahoo that the tooth fairy was vacationing that week, so all was forgiven. I love the internet. LOL!!! Plus when her vacation was over she left double.
