We spent a weekend at River Meadows Park in Arlington in their new yurt village. Our yurt was a 20 foot one, and had two bunk beds and a futon. Tons of room! We went with our neighbors, Amy, Jason and Abbie and Carla and Mike. The yurts were really nice and each had their own bathroom (located centrally in a separate building). The deer walked through the campground freely and made it easy to get photos. The biggest draw, though, was the river! The Stillaguamish river is so beautiful and this time of year was so low the kids could walk around in it with no worries of current. The first day we walked through the river to a raised area that was dry and that was our "camp" for the afternoon. The kids fished and swam in the river and Jeff tried out his fly-fishing after a number of years. Didn't catch anything but it was fun to fish in the river for a change. The second day we found a different part of the river with a huge rock the kids could climb up on and jump off. Later, they found a rope swing, which turned out to be a highlight of the trip! We picked plums and blackberries and enjoyed group dinners and breakfasts. It was a great time and we'll definitely be back!

Hi there! I found your images when doing an image search for the yurts in Arlington. Thank you for posting them. I'm part of group of 6 families (my daughter's playgroup) who have been camping on Camano Island for several years, each summer. We couldn't get the campsite this year so we discovered the yurts. It looks like at least one has beds! I'm not a camper so I'm thrilled about not sleeping on the floor! Is there just the one yurt with beds? Where did you find the boulder & the rope? They looked like great fun! Thanks again,

All of the yurts have beds - at least a double futon and a bunk bed with a double on bottom, twin on top. Ours had the above PLUS another bunk set up. So, we could sleep 8 if we wanted to! The yurts at River Meadows were awesome - clean and roomy. Each yurt had it's own bathroom with key so only your family used it. The boulder and the rope were just in the river. Someone obviously placed them there and everyone was enjoying it! We found the river to be very safe and quiet in August, and the kids spent HOURS in it. I would recommend this for your group camping trip, it was one of our best camping trips ever!
