We decided to go strawberry picking....
So, we headed to Harvold Farms in Carnation....
Where Harrison and I picked 17 pounds of strawberries!!!
This was an interesting specimen!
When we paid, the super cute guy who worked there serenaded us with a song....
Now, to make jam! First, crush the strawberries....
Stir every five minutes...
That's a lot of stirring!
Measure precisely!
These are the strawberries I didn't make into jam - wow, we had a LOT!
Add TONS of sugar.....
17 pints of strawberry jam! YUMMY!
Who knew such a little fruit could yield such big results?
