Harrison and Arlie performed Friday night in our Sister Schools concert. This was a fundraiser for Mokuno orphanage in Uganda, which our school supports through fundraising concerts, clothing, toy and supply drives and monetary donations. It's a great cause and the concert was wonderful. We had Ugandan kids come and share some dances with us and another marimba ensemble played along with the Fernwood Marimba Ensemble as well as the choir (made up of kindergarten and first graders). Hayley took some video which I will post when I get her camera uploaded but here are some photos to enjoy. Oh, I should also mention it was 84 degrees outside on this day, so about 100 in the church and absolutely stifling, so the fact that the kids did such a great job is commendable.
